HOW TO READ TAB FOR BASS GUITAR

T    _______________________________________________________    G string

A    _______________________________________________________    D string

B    _______________________________________________________    A string

     ________________________________________________________    E string

The four lines represent the four strings of your bass.

T    _______________________________________________________    G string

A    _______________________________________________________    D string

B    _______________________________________________________    A string

     _O__3___5___O___3___6___5___O___3___5___3___3___O___   E string

Playing from left to right.  The number are which fret you play the note on.  O is for OPEN (not fretted)

T    _______________________________________________________    G string

A    ________7________________7____________7________________    D string

B    ________7________________7____________7________________    A string

     _O__3___5___O___3___6___5___O___3___5___3___O___O___   E string

If the number are stacked on top of each other that means they are played at the same time.  Like a chord.  In this case A5 is the chord.

Most pieces of TAB you see will have a LEGENDS segment to show what the little signs mean.
